mark twain

Apparently Mark Twain impersonators are on the rise.

Right now I am sitting in my school computer lab drinking a cup of coffee, and a Mark Twain quote on the side of the mug caught my eye.

"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness.  Broad, wholesome, charitable views cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth."
-Mark Twain

What a great quote and how true!

  1. My all time favourite quote is by Mark Twain, who said "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.". Have a good weekend xx

  2. What a great quote, that should be my new mantra! Last night I was in a restaurant and there was a Mark Twain quote on the menu...it's crazy how things come in twos!
